Pleasant surprise!

We boarded the plane shortly after we got to the airport.  There where three seats beside each other. So I sat with Edward and an old man sat beside me…I was in the middle, Alice and Jasper sat in front of us with a younger guy about our age and Emmett and Rose behind us they got to sit alone!  Why did we get the old man like come on!  The seat belt sign turned on and we headed for the runway.  This and landing was the worst part of plane rides! It always made me feel sick!  Luckily I slept most of the way.


“Bella?” Edward said shaking me lightly “Bella we are landing you have to put your seat belt back on” I opened my eyes slowly and sat up straight putting my belt on
“We are here already?” I asked surprised, it felt only like a couple minutes
“Yes and luckily we all got hotel rooms close to each other and close to my parent’s room how ironic eh!”
“Ya that’s perfect… so how are we going to surprise them?” I asked
“I think we are just going to wing it” he said smiling, I smiled back

After getting off the plane and retrieving our luggage we headed for the Car rental place located near the airport and rented two cars.  Edward and I rode in the same car as Emmett and Rosalie and Alice and Jasper loaded their car with all our bags so they got to ride alone, they where also in front of us because Alice had the directions to the hotel.

My eyes wondered around as we passed people on sidewalks and stores that where very busy and the one thing I noticed was there was sand EVERYWHERE the only thing that wasn’t covered in sand was the road and even it had sand on it sometimes, other than that Mexico was absolutely beautiful!

The water was aqua blue everywhere except when it got deeper it was a darker blue there were a lot of people swimming.   It was very hot too I was wearing short shorts and I was sticking to the car seat because it was leather, who in there right mind would rent out cars that had leather seats in a place so hot!  

We soon arrived at the hotel and it too was also beautiful!  We walked up to the front desk
“Um…I’m Edward Cullen and this is the rest of my family, we have three rooms booked” Edward said kindly, the man at the desk nodded and looked at his computer and typed a few things in, then reached under the desk and grabbed three room keys, and handed them to Edward.
“Here you go, and enjoy your stay Mr. Cullen” The man said
“Thank you and could you tell me what room Carlisle Cullen would be in please?” the man typed some more things into his computer
“Room 566” he said smiling
“Thank you sir!” Edward started pulling me toward the Elevator and the rest followed us
“What floor are we on?” I asked
“4th” Edward replied as he pushed the 4th floor button.  We were all packed tightly into the small elevator with all our stuff
“Geez Rose did you bring enough?” Jasper asked staring at all four of Rosalie’s bags “Your like taking up the whole elevator” he said again chuckling
“No actually I could have brought more” she said sticking her nose in the air, we all started laughing at her
‘Knowing you, you would have taken your closet with you if you where aloud” I said giggling she just smiled at me as if I was totally correct.

The little bell rang and the doors opened
“We should probably put all our stuff in our rooms and then we can go and surprise mom and dad” Emmet suggested
“Good idea” Edward replied handing out all of the room keys, and we all went to our rooms to drop off our luggage.  Once we where done we headed to Esme and Carlisle’s room
“Here it is!” Alice whispered and knocked softly on the door
“Just a minute” Carlisle said, Emmett covered the eye whole with his finger, moments later the door opened and Carlisle stood there dumbfounded at the door as he looked at each of us
“Esme, dear” he called behind him
“Yes?”
“Come here for a minute”
“Coming” he smiled then just as Esme walked in behind him and looked at all of us
“Oh, my , gosh!” she squealed and hugged each of us tightly “What made you guys come and visit us?” she asked as she finished hugging Jasper
“Well it was my idea to come down here for the last week of summer! To have everyone spend it together” I said smiling
“Yes it was a very pleasant surprise” Carlisle said smiling back at me, Edward snaked his arm around my waist and Carlisle saw it and gave Edward a confused look.
“I will explain later” Edward whispered, Carlisle just nodded
